About Me

Hey friends! My name is Kim, and I'd like to welcome you to Water Tree Travel.

Travel has always been a passion of mine. From road trips to Dollywood to weekends at the beach, I’m always ready to pack up and go! My husband, Eddie, has traveled the world during his military career, and once he retired, I was lucky enough to tag along on his work trips. Whether it was a week in Raleigh or Jacksonville, we made the most of our evenings exploring local restaurants and discovering what each area had to offer.

When our daughter, Alexandra, came along, I couldn’t travel with Eddie as much, but we found joy in making family memories together. Trips to the Asheboro Zoo, Ripley’s Aquarium, Dixie Stampede, and countless other adventures filled our time with laughter and love.

Our love for travel truly took off when we went on our first cruise. It became an annual tradition for us, and even the pandemic couldn’t dampen our enthusiasm for setting sail. Once cruise lines reopened, we were back on board, exploring the seas and creating new memories.

In the fall and winter of 2023, I faced a health challenge that kept me at home for much of the year. This gave me time to reflect and reignite a dream I’ve always had: becoming a travel agent. With our daughter heading off to college and Eddie and I becoming empty nesters, the timing couldn’t be more perfect to share our love of travel with others.
